Return & Refund Policy

To request a return, you must contact us  within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns may not be accepted without prior authorization. Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the correct return destination.


Final Sale & Clearance Items

All products discounted 40% or more  are considered a FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

All products discounted up to 30% are eligible for an in store credit. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.


Return Procedures and Eligibility for a Refund or In-Store Credit

Please Contact Us  to start the return process.

Approved returns must be:

  • Include proof of purchase
  • Be in the original packaging including the bag it was shipped to you in.
  • Include all original contents
  • Be in new, unused, and resellable condition
  • Have all tags attached

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • Free of dog hair
  • Free of odour
  • Clean and not soiled
  • Not worn outdoors
  • Not bitten or damaged

No exceptions.

If returned merchandise does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to:

  • Refuse the refund or exchange
  • Return the item to you at your expense
  • Dispose of the item if return shipping is not arranged

Photos will be provided for documentation if necessary.


Refund Processing

Refunds or store credits are issued to your original payment processor within 7 days of receiving the returned product.


Christmas Gift Extension

Orders placed between November 15 and December 31 may be returned until January 14, provided that:

  • The order clearly states at the time of purchase that it is a Christmas gift. This note should be added during checkout.


Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Ruffdog is not responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Manufacturer return shipping fees
  • Lost or damaged return shipments

We strongly recommend shipping with tracking and insurance. We are not responsible if your order is lost or damaged.

Defective Items & Manufacturer Warranties

Ruffdog does not cover shipping costs associated with manufacturer warranty claims.


Dogtra Electronics Policy

Refunds or exchanges on defective Dogtra  electronic products purchased at Ruffdog are issued within 30 days of purchase

After the 30 day electronic policy window has passed,  all warranty matters must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Ruffdog does not cover shipping costs related to electronic warranty claims.


Sale Price Adjustments

If an item you purchased goes on sale, we will honour a price adjustment within 3 days of your original purchase date.

  • Adjustments are issued as store credit only
  • Requests made after 3 days will not qualify
  • Discounts, including in store coupon codes and ambassador codes, cannot be combined with some in store sales including BFCM, discounted promotional collections, Weekend celebration sales
