When designing our newest summer training vest, one decision was easy: it had to be black.

For decades, black has been the most popular and professional-looking colour in dog training. It's timeless, practical, and looks just as good on the training field as it does at a seminar, trial, or club event. Black also does an excellent job of hiding dirt, dog hair, mud, and the wear that naturally comes with working dogs.

Of course, we know that black isn't everyone's first choice during the warmer months. That's why we focused on lightweight, breathable materials and added extremely strong NEW mesh panels for ventilation, to help improve airflow and comfort during summer training sessions.

To give trainers a chance to add their own style, we also introduced two accent colour options. You still get the classic black vest that trainers love, but with the ability to choose the look that best fits your personality, club colours, or training style.

The Ruffdog Black Summer Vest combines the professional appearance trainers want with the comfort, storage, and functionality they need for everyday training.
