Very comfortable to wear, its become one of my favorite training vests
After destroying her last bite roll, I found everyone in Canada sold out of sizes I needed until I found this one. It’s smaller than her last but is perfect. Small enough to fit in my vest pocket and just big enough for my girl. The small size helps with targeting too, an unexpected bonus.
The straps are nice, something not all tugs have.

I love this jacket, warm, stylish and functional. A couple problems I encountered (less than 1 season) and would love to see in future models...
A left side inner breast pocket for right handed people (why not have both?) Also the velcro is too strong and unnecessary and will eventually pull apart from the fabric.
Armpit vent holes, zipped or velcro... this jacket is very warm but on active training days it gets hot very quickly with no way to really have body heat vent.
Heavy duty snaps on rear tunnel pocket with reinforcement on the seam edges, or use velcro instead. Both the snaps on my rear tunnel pocket have been torn out as it's an easy place for my 60lb Mal to get her paws caught up in (drive engagement, falcon carry on shoulders). It's frustrating as I love and constantly use this tunnel pocket. I could use an extra set of tunnel pocket snaps to repair this!

We appreciate your feedback and will definitely take your suggestions into consideration for future models. We understand the need for a left side inner breast pocket for right-handed people and will look into adding that in. We have a new design, simpler and lighter jacket in the works and have eliminated the velcro off the sleeve cuffs and pockets!
Regarding the armpit vent holes, we will definitely look into adding those in for better ventilation during active training days. We have focused on keeping the jacket overall price as low as possibile to provide affordability to all shoppers in the dog sport clothing market with less features including extra zippers. However we definitely see the importance of breathability when that jacket gets too warm! Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We apologize for the inconvenience with the snaps on the rear tunnel pocket. We have reinforced all the jackets in stock in these areas to make them stronger and our new jackets (in late 2026) will boast a newly designed rear tunnel pocket to eliminate this problem that can happen when the dog jumps on the trainer. We wanted to make the pocket huge however when dogs jump their paws get caught in there and if they don't jump off gently this pocket can rip. We will likely eliminate the expander in future models to eliminate this problem. The pocket will be smaller but less chance of dogs paws and noses getting in there diggin for their toys!
In the meantime, our customer service team will be in touch! We would be happy to provide you with an extra set of snaps to repair the pocket and find the seamstress near you that can fix it quickly on our dime!
We do recommend closing the snaps when the rear tunnel pocket is not in use to avoid getting caught on objects in your daily life!
